Amber was awarded the York Railway Institute U13 Trainer of the Month for August 2015. She was presented with her certificate at last weeks training session.

Coach Chris Collins was quoted as saying:

‘I coached her as member of the Railway Institute team at U10 level, and she then attended a year at the North Yorkshire Girls’ Centre of Excellence. Last season she played against us for Copmanthorpe and I was always impressed by her work rate. When she contacted me in the closed season asking if there were any places in our squad, I jumped at the chance to re-sign her. Her attitude and effort are never in doubt and she has fitted right back into the team. A thoroughly deserved award, well done Amber!’
