The theme for this week was game related play.  We split the players into 3 teams and the team that was resting picked the game based restrictions.  We had the following throughout the session – one touch play, score only in the D with a one touch finish, score only outside the D with a one touch finish and only a one goal lead at anytime.

As coaches we love sessions like this as they make the players constantly think about what and how they are going to play.  We had some excellent futsal from everyone, with some really good passing and moving, let alone the finishing!  Top striker was Matthew with some seriously good finishing, and top keeper was once again Abbi with some fantastic saves.

Next week is the last session of the year, and Mr Fosters last ever futsal session before he leaves Manor CE Academy.
