After 29 weeks of amazing futsal at Manor Futsal Club, the coaches sat down and picked their players of the year.  It is always hard to pick out two players from a group, especially as all year everyone had worked so hard and given their best.  After a short discussion, two names stood out as the individuals who had given their absolute best throughout the year, and as it turns out, both are Year 7s.

For the girls, we chose Abbi Simmons.  In the first few weeks she wouldn’t speak to anyone, very quiet and very reserved.  But as the weeks progressed, she gained in confidence and started to show the quality futsal player she is.  Now, Abbi is both a fantastic goalkeeper and has a shot to rival most of the boys, just don’t get in the way of it.  Well done Abbi!

For the boys, we choose Aidan Doodson.  We don’t think there is a single piece of the Manor Sports Hall that Aidan has not run over at least twice this year, his energy and commitment are simply amazing.  He works tirelessly and never has a negative word to say about anyone.  We know he has a great future in futsal and hope we can support him all the way. Huge congratulations Aidan.

Both players received a futsal medal, a framed certificate and a hugely rare Pro Coaching Academy beanie, which now everyone wants!

From all the coaches at Pro Coaching Academy, a huge well done to them both for all their hard work.
