Bootham Futsal Club’s chairman and head coach Chris was recently asked to assist North Yorkshire Sport in making a promotional video for their mentoring programme.

In conversation Chris said, ‘We owe a lot to North Yorkshire Sport, without them we wouldn’t be here. They were the ones who believed in the project from the start, and their expertise helped us get to where we are today. When I was asked to appear in the video, I couldn’t say no.’

He continued, ‘The mentoring programme was brilliant for us, and Jeremy’s help and advise was superb, it really did help us move forward. I would recommend any club, regardless of size and age to get in touch with North Yorkshire Sport and try this programme, you won’t be disappointed.’

When asked how he found the filming, Chris said, ‘I think I did OK, but I doubt I will be getting any offers from Hollywood in the post!’
