It is always a bittersweet moment when players you have worked with leave you to move onto pastures new.  Amy, Elisabeth and Alice have all been selected to represent the York Regional Talent Squad for the forthcoming season.  Everyone at Pro Coaching is extremely proud of you all and wishes you the very best of luck for the upcoming season.  Keep in touch and let us now how you are getting on!

From a coaching point of view, it is very disappointing that the ‘powers that be’ have decided, for whatever reason, that the girls are not ‘allowed’ to play futsal during this time.  This ‘policy’ seems a very backward step, as in other countries they are actively promoting the game as a fantastic development tool for football.

Oh well, it shows how far we still have to go in helping to develop our younger players…
