Every year the coaches at Bootham Futsal Club buy the players an Easter Egg as a thank you for all their hard work and commitment. Due to the unprecedented coronavirus, the coaches are not going to see the girls this Easter.

So coaches Chris & Suzy decided it was only right to donate 40 Easter Eggs to the NHS Staff at York District Hospital, especially after the fantastic way they cared for Suzy following her motorbike accident.

They attached a simple message, which read, ‘To our NHS heroes, thank you for all your hard work and sacrifices you are making, you are all amazing! From your very special friends – the girls, parents and coaches of Bootham Girls’ Futsal Club.’

The photo shows York Hospital Committee Fund Raiser Joe accepting the Easter Eggs on behalf of the NHS staff.
