As this was the last training session of the year, we had the annual York RI U13 Girls’ Christmas match, with the ‘Oldies’, captained by Chris against the ‘Youngies’, captained by Denva!

With Tracey and Pauline in goal the ‘Youngies’ were never going to score many.  In fact, they scored loads – but we blame the defence.  ‘Oldies’ obviously won….

It has been a great 2015 with lots of trophies for the girls, fantastic support from the parents, new girls joining the club – welcome Tegan, Lucy, Jade and Cody, some fall outs, some make ups, it nearly didn’t even happens, a trip to Blackpool – where we nearly won and trip to Birmingham – where we got hammered, some tears, some tantrums, but overall a huge number of smiles and laughs.

Suzy and Chris would like to thank each and every one of the players, the parents, the families, Ben and Sam – honorary girls, for all the hard work and dedication they have given to the club this year, without you all we have nothing – thank you, a Very Very Happy Christmas and fantastic New Year xxx
