At the planning stage of the proposed futsal club, Coaches Chris and Suzy committed to having a long-term plan for Bootham Futsal Club.  This involved running teams at various age groups, as well as entering as many competitions as possible, to gain valuable experience for the players of all ages.  As part of this they decided very early on to work towards getting the club affiliated with the North Riding County Football Association.

We are very pleased to say, after many emails, late night courses and form filling, Bootham Futsal Club – York are now registered, and have all the relevant paperwork in place.  We have also registered, with North Riding County FA, 2 girls’ teams, one at U12 and one at U14, which means we can now enter tournaments, football and futsal, under our own name.

Their next step is to work towards getting an FA Charter Standard Youth Club award for Bootham Futsal Club.  They hope this highlights their commitment to the quality and excellence they are providing at the futsal club.
